The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities
The updated centers will provide a co-living concept centred around area living. “We know that lots of [overseas healthcare staffs] are leaving their home countries for the first time, so it is really important to create a secure and pleasant environment for them,” says Eugene Lim, founder and chief executive officer of The Assembly Place.
MOH Holdings had already launched a demand for recommendation in August of last year to appoint a manager to retrofit uninhabited structures and handle hostel-type accommodation for new offshore health care workforces on five sites, including the areas at 1A Short Avenue, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the spot of a previous student hostel, while the latter two are spots of previous institutions.
Lim adds that the collaboration in between TS Group and The Assembly Place will draw on the former’s extensive knowledge in operating large-scale lodgings sites and the latter’s stability in community-building. “We look forward to producing purposeful areas and events to embrace the medical care professionals,” he claims.

The buildings stand at 1A Short Street, 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent, and 207 Circuit Road.
He proceeds: “By partnering with operators to develop combination programmes, we want to smoothen the shift for our new health care professionals to take in right into Singapore’s health care system.”
